This set of pages was written mid-2002. While much of the information is still valid the parameters of the 'vision' have broadened. Basically, as of mid 2003, the end result is still not clear. Stay tuned.

  • I have established the framework for a community portal.
  • This means (those who want) can have their own pages to add, edit, etc.
  • There will be general sections to which you can all contribute.
  • A calendar of (global?) events; one for each continent?

    • There has been a lot of interest - thanks for all your email. Progress is slow but steady.

    What is it?
    A DYNAMIC focal point for young peoples, families + groups (involving y'peeps) - i.e. Buddha Minders.
    It requires an ACTIVE enthusiasm to share your common interest in Buddhism.
    The emphasis is on people presenting what they are DOING as a result of this interest -- and,
    other people RESPONDING to this presentation - either through the site or directly with other B'mers

     The results of any activity will be fed back to the site for collective viewing. Hear the song they sang, watch the play they did, see the drawings, the craft, the model, the mandala, the stupa, read the stories and poems .... etc. This way there will be a process of collective learning - through each other's successes (and failures).
     
    what can U do ... ?
    		 There are lots and oodles of things and ways in which you can make it all happen. The easiest thing you could do is to email me and express an interest - either in principle or around a particular area. Do that here
