The first ring of stones being considered. It should be remembered that the stones for this entire jig-saw puzzle were cut and shaped in Indonesia - not far from the actual Boropodur stupa. They arrived in many boxes with the only construction guide being a line drawing sketched on a piece of cardboard. The builders here have the advantage of having been able to study the temporary installation.

Work continues under grey skies and the last stone of the sixth ring is ready to slide into place.

The Buddha rupa has been moved into position and raised off the ground level with its final platform.
