| A few words of explanation might put the following pages into context. | ||
| Three years ago Ajahn Viradhammo, whose parents are Latvian, was invited to visit
Latvia - something he had never done before. The result of that first visit was that the following year there was another invitation to retrun and teach a ten-day meditaton retreat. This was 1998 and I was fortunate enough to have been able to accompany him. The success of that visit led to another similar invitation. This time I took a camera and present here a few photos of our journey. |

| It is not an especially 'religious' collection and was largely intended as an album for friends and family but having done the work I thought it might be of some wider interest. | ||
