A mother was offering advice on care in money matters to her daughter who was about to marry. She seemed slow to understand so the mother took her to a gown shop in the nearby town.
Approaching the shop assisstant she said, " Show me your very best gown, we are in a mood to spend excessively."
A most beautiful bridal gown was produced and an extremly high price was asked for it."
It is very much like what we are looking for but could we have one with some lace around the collar and a border of sequins on the hem?"
"Nothing could be easier said the sales woman. I have just such a gown in the store room."
She disappeared with the original gown and returned after a few minutes having added the lace and sequins to the exact-same garment."
And how much is this one?" the mother asked.
Ten times the price of the first one," said the sales woman.
"Excellent, we shall take them both."
